Gathering. Equipping. Mobilizing People to Make a Difference.
Over the past few years Hope for Freedom has grown from a few people that were heartbroken over the tragedy of human trafficking to a movement that includes hundreds of volunteers and community leaders partnering together to end modern-day slavery. We have seen the tide of awareness rise through our school programs and clubs and have equipped hundreds of volunteers to address this issue.
In 2012, we collaborated with Place of Hope and opened the very first faith-based long-term safe house on the east coast of Florida. We have seen firsthand the transformation that comes when survivors live in physical freedom and in the freedom found in Jesus Christ.
In 2018 we decided to expand our reach to offer more supportive services to all survivors of trafficking. With growth in mind, we made the decision to close our 4-bed girl’s residential facility to expand our reach to serve boys/girls and men/women, both domestically and nationwide. With our expanded reach we will offer supportive comprehensive services including; intensive case management, quality medical care, professional counseling, therapy, life skills development, tutoring, transportation and mentoring. As a church, we know that we have been called to shine the light of God into the dark places. Thank you for joining us in this fight to put an end to modern-day slavery in our region and around the world. We won’t stop until it ends.
Attend the Hope for Freedom Meet & Greet, a quarterly outreach event. (Check back for the next Meet & Greet event). This is an opportunity to come and get educated about human trafficking, to become aware of how much trafficking is going on in South Florida and discover ways to get involved in your community.
PRAY with us on the last Wednesday of the month @ 6:30pm, Gardens Campus, LC 215. And please continue to keep all the victims of human trafficking in prayer.
