Nursing Home Visitation
If your group chooses this project, you will have the opportunity to visit nursing home residents. You may choose to spend time talking, writing letters, reading, listening to their stories. You may decide to take large print Christian books and magazines, small hygiene items, cards, or small items to decorate rooms.

Care Packages for the Elderly
If your group chooses this project, you will have the opportunity to create care packages for some of the 200 elderly currently being served by Vickers House in the Palm Beach Lakes area in West Palm Beach.

Suggested Group sized: Four or more.
Estimated time: 4 hours
Supplies needed: You will need one each of the following for each package.
- Comb for a man, brush for women
- Small shampoo
- Bar of soap
- Deodorant (stick or roll on preferred)
- Baby wipes
- Toothbrush/toothpaste (some with denture cleaner)
- Mouthwash
- Disposable razor pack
- Small shaving cream for men, hand cream or moisturizer for women
- One-gallon zip-lock bag
