HOPE for Freedom

“Let Freedom Ring”

you’ve heard it, you’ve seen it, and you experience it today. But to 27 million people around the globe “Freedom” is not a reality. It’s a lost hope.

Here’s the reality of modern day slavery:

- 27 million people are enslaved worldwide – 50% are children, some are sold for as little as $20.

- Every 30 seconds, another person become a victim of slavery.

- The average age of girls enslaved is 14.

- 99% of the victims are not rescued.

- Florida is 2nd in the nation for reported cases of human trafficking.

With statistics so overwhelming, you may ask yourself “What can I do to share hope for Freedom?” - As God’s people…His Hands, His Feet…we have been called to bind up the broken hearted and set the captives free from their oppressors (Luke 4:18)

For this reason, Christ Fellowship is raising our hand and joining the modern day abolitionist movement. We believe that slavery can be abolished in our lifetime by taking action in the following areas.

As followers of Christ we are called to pray for all those that are being victimized and for the church to unite against injustice. Click here for Prayer Guide.

Hope for Freedom is partnering with Love 146 to build safe houses and also partnering with Night Light Bangkok and Not For Sale to carry items in our bookstores that have been made by survivors of human trafficking.
