Recovery
Christ Fellowship’s Recovery Ministry offers fellowship with others while celebrating God’s healing power in our lives through the 12 steps. These 12 steps are a spiritual pilgrimage.
They can be used as a way out of self-destructive behavior, as a recovery tool in which to learn new behavior and as a way to establish a closer relationship with God. When the steps are used in conjunction with support groups, they provide an opportunity to experience feelings, talk openly with others, enjoy life one day at a time and develop healthy relationships.
Prayer for Serenity
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time; accepting hardships as a pathway to peace; taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is; not as I would have it; Trusting that You will make all things right. If I surrender to Your will; So that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next. AMEN."
