Frequently Asked Questions about Online Giving
Q: Who should give online?
A: Anyone wishing to give to the ministry of Christ Fellowship on a recurring basis. And for those who are looking for a simpler way to prioritize and plan their giving.
Q: Is online giving secure?
A: Absolutely
Q: When are gifts processed?
A: All gifts are processed either on the 5th or the 20th of each month.
Q: Can my gift be processed on a different date?
A: We are currently only able to process gifts on the 5th and/or 20th of the month.
Q: Will my One Life commitment show up as a separate transaction from our tithing?
A: Yes. If you choose to give a tithe and a One Life gift once a month, two transactions will appear on your bank statement.
Q: Why do I need to provide my spouse’s name?
A: When we provide a year-end giving statement for your family, we combine husband and wife. We would like your spouse’s name in order to cross check our records for statements.
Q: Can I give with my credit card?
A: Yes. You can give a one-time gift or set up a monthly giving plan with a credit card (VISA, MC AMEX), or you can fill out one of our offering envelopes in the sanctuary with your credit card and gift information.
Q: I am not a regular attender or member, but I would like to make a donation. Can I use Online Giving?
A: Yes. You can give a one-time gift with a credit card (VISA, MC AMEX) just like everyone. And thanks in advance, by the way, for your contribution!
Q: What if I want to cancel or change my Online Giving?
A: Please call Christ Fellowship Finance Office at 561.799.7603, ext. 1113.
Q: Will my online gifts be included on my quarterly giving statements?
A: Yes, they will be included.
Q: Can I view my past giving history online?
A: At this time your past giving history is not available online. You will continue to receive quarterly giving statements in the mail and these gifts will be included on those statements.
Q: How can I keep track of my One Life commitment giving?
A: One Life gifts will appear on your quarterly giving statements and you will also receive periodic updates in the mail. If you have an immediate question, call our Finance Department at 561.799.7603, ext. 1109.
Q: How can I get a receipt of my online gift?
A: You may print out your confirmation screen or confirmation email as a receipt. Either is considered a valid receipt, but remember, your gift will appear on your quarterly giving statements.
Q: What about my offering envelopes?
A: Envelopes are provided and mailed to any Christ Fellowship attender who requests them in order to establish faithful patterns of giving. If you choose online giving, you may continue to use offering envelopes on special giving occasions or, when you set up your Online Giving profile, you may choose not to receive offering envelopes.
Q: When will my first gift be withdrawn?
A: All new online gifts are set up one week before the gift date.
